What We Didn’t Like
BetOnline has a lot going for it, but it wouldn’t be fair not to mention a couple of areas where we think it could improve. In the spirit of balance, here are a few things we feel are missing:
- No Preferred Seating Option – When we first started using the platform, we couldn’t find any way to set a preferred seat. After having to change seats a few times, it seemed like this might be a major inconvenience. However, after a couple of table loads, the software appeared to learn where we liked to sit and started placing us there automatically. While it’s helpful that it eventually adjusts, a simple setting to choose your preferred seat right away would make things much easier.
- Poker Client Screen-Capture Issue – The poker client doesn’t work with screen-capturing tools like Microsoft Snipping Tool or OBS. We recommend poker streamers to use the web version instead of the desktop client when they want to broadcast their sessions.
- 3. Small Bet Buttons – Having seven different preflop and postflop bet buttons on the table can be a bit of a challenge. The layout can make some of the buttons quite small, especially when multitabling, which makes them harder to use quickly when you’re in the middle of the action.

The mobile version of the poker platform is well-designed, and easy to use. With its clean menus and intuitive layout, it’s simple to navigate the site and find your favorite games or tournaments.
